Teaching
"I had lots of “take-aways” from the Masterclass organised by the Hong Kong Musicus Society. Ms. Julia Kuhn not only shedded inspirational thoughts on the musical aspects of the piece I was learning, i.e. Vieuxtemps Violin Concerto No.4, but she also demonstrated the techniques that I had long been struggling with - bow distribution and movement of the right arm especially when playing chords. She also taught me the projection and planning of dynamics, creating a mysterious atmosphere in the beginning of the piece. I hope I will have chances to learn more from her in the future!"
